About Scream Lacrosse

Built in the Valley.
Built for the game.

Scream Lacrosse was founded in the San Fernando Valley with a single purpose: to give girls in Los Angeles access to elite lacrosse development without having to leave their community to find it.

We're a national girls' club lacrosse program serving athletes from 4th through 12th grade — beginners finding the sport for the first time, and competitive players with eyes on a college roster. Whatever level your athlete is at today, we have a place for her and a plan to take her further.

Coach Scott Cohen mid-game

Scott Cohen has spent over fifteen years building girls' lacrosse in Southern California from the ground up — as a club founder, a high school head coach, a college program builder, and an international coach on the world stage.

Scott founded Scream Lacrosse in 2011 alongside his role as Head Coach of the Chaminade Eagles Girls Lacrosse program in West Hills, where he has coached continuously for over 15 years. Under his leadership, the Eagles became a Pacific Lacrosse League powerhouse, capturing seven consecutive league championships from 2013 through 2019.

What he brings

Scott brings something most club coaches can't: he has coached at every level from youth recreation to NCAA collegiate to international competition. When he talks about the recruiting process, the college game, or what it takes to develop a complete player, he's speaking from direct, firsthand experience — not secondhand knowledge.

Why
Scream?

There's no shortage of club programs in LA. What sets Scream apart is the coaching pedigree behind it.

Scott Cohen didn't just play the game — he's coached it at Pepperdine, coached it in Israel, and has spent 15+ years developing girls into athletes and athletes into young women who compete, lead, and grow. That track record lives inside every practice, every rep, and every team we put on the field.

If your daughter wants to play lacrosse at the next level — or just fall in love with the game — this is the right place to start.
